Preliminary Screening (recorded audition)
The following three pieces should be performed and recorded:
- G.Ph.Telemann : 12 Fantasies for solo Oboe (original: Flute) Nr.6
- C.Saint-Saens : Sonata for Oboe and Piano in D-Major op.166 3rd movement
- B.Britten : 6 Metamorphoses after Ovid op.49 Nr.5 “Narcissus”
1st Round
The following two pieces should be performed:
- N.Skalkottas : Concertino
- A.Vivaldi : Concerto for Oboe in C-Major, P41, op.39-1, F.VII-6, T.216
1st and 2nd movements
2nd Round
The following three pieces should be performed:
- W.A.Mozart : Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra in C-Major KV.314 (285d)※
- Choose one from the following pieces:
(a) A.Pasculli : Gran Concerto su temi dall`opera “I vesperi siciliani” di Verdi
(b) B.A.Zimmermann : Concerto for Oboe (1952)
(c) K.Stockhausen : In Freundschaft※
(d) L.Berio : Sequenza VII
- R.Schumann : 3 Romanzen for Oboe and Piano op.94 (complete) (Henle)
Final Round
The following two pieces should be performed:
- J.S.Bach : Sonata in g-minor BWV.1030b
- R.Strauss : Concerto for Oboe (complete)※
N.B
- Among the required repertoire above mentioned, the ones with ※ must be performed by memory.
- All the required repertoire should be accompanied by piano, except for the solo pieces. (A=442Hz)
